This week was arguably the most competitive week in Grinders history, with each game going to overtime. 38 1/2 Minutes of Hell started of the night by narrowly defeated Head of Steam 16-15. 38 1/2 Minutes had a balanced scoring attack with Soluri having 5pts, Jeff 4pts and two other players with 3pts. Jeff also had 14rbs to go along with those 4pts to help secure the win. Head of Steam was with out their captain for this game for some odd reason, but kept the game close due Dennis (6pts 7rbs) and Nate (4pts, 22rbs). The outcome of this game may have actually been different if Nate did not miss a wide open fast break dunk in the second half of the game. There is so much to say about that, but you know what, I am just going to leave it be. The middle game ended in controversial style, with The Revolution topping The Bricklayers 2.0 in overtime 29-27. Hearn had his best game of the season to date for the Revolution with 12pts 17rbs. Simon chipped in with 9pts , 5asts, 8rbs. Sean started the game on fire for the Bricklayers, going 8/8 to start the game. He finish with 13pts, 13rbs. Perreault also helped the Bricklayers force OT with 7pts. After seeing the great finishes from the previous games, no one was surprised that the final game of the evening went to overtime as well. The Academy won 28-26 over The After School Specials. This game was a battle back and forth, with each team holding a decent size lead at some point in this game. Witt had 12pts, 10rbs for the Academy, while Psaradelis also had a good game with 4pts, 5asts, 3rbs. Justin and Poke were the main contributors on offense for the After School Specials, combining for 19pts, 30rbs. Justin also hit the buzzer beater at the end of regulation to force OT.
