I know it is a little late, but you know what they say, better late then never. Week 9 seems so long ago, but here is a quick re-cap of an exciting week in Grinders. To open the night, the After School Specials took on 38 1/2 Minutes. 38 1/2 Minutes turned it up on put on a show as they won 27-19. Eric lead the way with one of his best games of the year. He finished with 16pts, 4rbs, 4stls. Jeff also had a solid all around performance with 5pts, 7ast, 12rbs, 2stls. 38 1/2 Minutes also got a boost from the return of Lou. It will be interesting to see how this team comes together with his return. Crazy Al had 9pts for the Specials, and Poke chipped in with 6pts, 10rbs in a losing effort. The middle game featured The Academy against The Bricklayer 2.0. The Academy won 32-20. Swain had a solid game with 8pts, 11rbs, and Tim contributed with 4pts, 8rbs to help lead a balanced attack. Perreault had 7pts, 5rbs and Paul added 6pts as they were the bright spots for the Bricklayers. The nightcap, saw The Revolution lock up the second seed with a 28-21 win. The Revoltuion was lead by their usual candidates. Simon and Hearn each had 9pts, while Vinny had 10pts, 7stls. Nate had 7pts, 21rbs for Head of Steam, and Scott also had 9pts, 4rbs. There is only one more week left, before playoffs, good luck to all.
