With the Grinders season winding down, team are jockeying for playoff positioning, and every game counts. The Revolution started week 8 off with a 24-19 win over The Bricklayers 2.0. Simon had a strong game with 10pts, 5asts, 9rbs to lead the Revoltuion. Hearn (5pts,14rbs) and Vinny (6pts) were the other main contributors for the Revolution. Perreault was the bright spot for the Bricklayers, having an all around solid game (8pts, 3asts, 18rbs,1blk, 3stls). Paul shot well from the field for the Bricklayers and finished with 6pts. The second game of the night, matched the academy against the After School Specials. Witt had a solid performance for the Academy with 10pts, 5ast, 11rbs, 1stls. Todd also helped secure the win with 2pts, 4asts, 8rbs. Poke and Justin helped keep the After School Special in it. Poke finished with 8pts, 10rbs, 7stls, while Justin had 5pts, 15rbs. The nightcap of the evening pitted 38 1/2 Minutes of Hell against The Head of Steam. Jeff and Eric led the way for 38 1/2 Minutes. Jeff had 5pts, 5asts, 20rbs, 4stls while Eric ended up with 7pts, 12rbs. Soluri also had a hand in the win with 11pts. Head of Steam had a balanced attack throughout the game, but were lead mostly by Jake (7pts, 10rbs) and Nate (9pts, 17rbs, 4blks). There are only two weeks left in the regular season.
