Week 6 has come and gone, and we are now on to the final stretch of games for the fall season. The Revolution opened the night with a 25-20 victory over 38 1/2 Minutes of Hell. Simon and Hearn both had solid outings for The Revolution. Simon finished with 11pts, 5asts, 8rbs, 5stls and Hearn had 5prs, 3asts, 12rbs, 2blks. Vinny also chipped in with 7pts. Eric led the way for 38 1/2 Minutes with 10pts, 2ast, 13rbs. Jeff also contributed with 4pts, 5asts, 8rbs, 5stls. After School Specials and The Bricklayers 2.0 squared off in the middle game, and it was not pretty. After School Specials won convincingly 27-15 behind a great performance by Poke. He had his best game of the year with 9pts, 5asts, 15rbs, 6stls. Justin also had a hand in the blowout with 3pts, 4asts, 15rbs, 3blks, 5stls. Al had 11pts as well. The Bricklayers buy a bucket in this game, and shot bad as a team. Shawn was the lone bright spot for the 'Layers with 5pts, 16rbs. The night cap, was by far the best game of the evening. Both teams were missing two players, as Head of Steam was without their captain, Sampson and Jake, and The Academy was with out Todd and Swain, but that did not stop either team from going all out, as this was a very physical and hard fought battle. Head of Steam barley edged out The Academy, 23-22 in double overtime. Head of Steam jumped out early, leading for most of the game, until The Academy made a late surge in the second half. Mike hit a jumper in the final second of regulation to send it to overtime. Overtime was a back and forth battle, but yet a again, another buzzer beater, this time by Witt sent the game in to a second overtime. Both teams were exhausted in this overtime, and only one point was scored in this frame. Nate had an astounding 26rbs, to go along with 4blks, 8pts, 3sts, 2ast. Scott also had a solid game with 7pts, 7ast, 6rbs. Mike (4pts, 5rbs, 5ast, 2stls) and Witt (12pts, 5rbs, 2stls) had good games for The Academy. Overall, yet another solid night at Grinders Arena.

Week #6 MVP - Poke 9pts, 5asts, 15rbs, 6stls,

Stat Stuffer of the Week - Nate 8pts, 2asts, 26rbs, 4blk, 3stls

Dud of the Week: Kyle 0/7, 4TOs
